I just finished Pandhan’s beginner virtual production course, and it was a great intro to placing green screen characters into Unreal Engine 5. As a total beginner, I really appreciated how clearly everything was explained—step-by-step, no overwhelming jargon.
By the end, I had my first virtual scene with a keyed-out character, and it actually looked decent! I do wish there was a bit more on lighting to make the character blend more naturally, but overall, it made virtual production feel way more accessible.
